There are some airlines now offering flights directly into Kahului Airport, the main airport in Maui though many will still access the destination via Honolulu Airport on the island of Oahu. There are two smaller airports that you may fly into if you fly to Maui from another island within Hawaii, Kapalua Airport servicing West Maui and Hana Airport servicing East Maui. From Maui, travel to other islands is also accessible and can be arranged by your Romance Expert prior to your trip. You can also access nearby islands of Lanai and Molokai via ferry from Maui.
The island of Maui offers a number of microclimates, generally drier on the resort side along the western coast of the island and wetter on the windward side where you’ll find the road to Hana. Maui generally has two seasons – winter (November through April), when temperatures range in the low 70s to the mid-80s and summer (May-October), when temperatures range from the mid-70s to the lower-90s. The trade winds keep the temperature comfortable on the island year-round.
Photo IDs and marriage applications are required for marrying in Hawaii. Our Romance Experts can help ensure you have all of the proper documentation needed.
