09 Jun The ‘Foodies’ Guide to a Delicious Honeymoon
There are many different kinds of travelers out there. Some couples like the hustle and bustle of an adventurous, high energy getaway for two. Then there are those couples that are all about eating, drinking and EATING everything that their destination has to offer.
If you’re like me and love a good foodie vacation, even on your honeymoon, then you have to check out the all-inclusive Karisma Resorts in the Riviera Maya. They are known for not only for their luxurious resorts on beautiful beaches but their Gourmet Inclusive® atmosphere! While there are dozens of resorts specializing in top notch cuisine from around the world. Karisma Resorts focuses on the quality of dishes that their chefs prepare.
What is Gourmet Inclusive®?
Gourmet Inclusive® is Karisma’s own rendition of all inclusive, redefining luxurious vacations with savory meals and top shelf drinks for the two of you. They first start off with their ingredients. Many Karisma Resorts have their very own roof top gardens and a hydroponic greenhouse to ensure that you are eating organic and fresh fruits and vegetables coming from their carefully attended farms, directly to your table. Their meats and poultry are all choice or better, because us ‘foodies’ know there is nothing worse than just a average steak. And last but certainly not least their bars; Karisma Resorts use all top shelf brands. Themed bars are also a norm at their properties including but not limited to… Mojito Bar, Gin Bar, Mexican Cantina! It’s 5 o’clock somewhere right!?
Below are some of our Romance Expert’s favorite restaurants at some of Karisma’s finest resorts:
“Everything about it was perfect! The ambiance, the service, the presentation, the flavor and of course the view! I had a delicious table side lunch while gazing into the deep Caribbean! It would be perfect for couples for a beautiful breakfast, lunch or dinner! I had the “Fresh Catch of the Day” which was the freshest whole fish prepared with a delicious side of rice and grilled vegetables! When I go back to the El Dorado Royale, this would undoubtedly be my first stop!”
Romance Expert, Jodi Minorini’s favorite restaurant was La Isla at the El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya.
“I had the Mahi Mahi dish which was spectacular but was my absolute favorite was their salad bar! Their salad bar came with a plethora of toppings which all came from their private green house and roof top garden! You can’t ever find that fresh of produce these days!”
