About Saint Martin
The lively destination of St. Maarten is the world’s smallest inhabited island divided between two nations. The division consists of the French side in the north (referred to as Saint-Martin) and the Dutch side in the south (referred to as Sint Maarten). While the French side of the island is culturally laidback, the Dutch side is best known for its lively nightlife. But no matter which side you choose, the incredible food can be tasted everywhere. The average annual temperature is 80°F, peaking at around 89.6°F. Temperatures rarely dip below 68°F. The temperature on St. Martin is stable and benefits from the trade winds. There is no rainy season as such and the showers are rather short.
SAINT MARTIN WEDDING REQUIREMENTS
Requests must be made 14 days in advance. You must be at least 21 years of age to marry in St. Maarten and divorced women may not marry until 306 days have passed since getting their divorce finalized.
